Raw Meat Roller Skating May 10: Hopping Along to Hell

“Bunnies aren’t just cute like everybody supposes. They got them hoppy legs and twitchy little noses, and what’s with all the carrots? What do they need such good eyesight for anyway?” –Anya

Come to Raw Meat Vancouver Roller Skating on May 10 (10 AM – Noon at Royal City Curling Club, 75 East 6th AVenue in New Westminster), and find out how bunnies use that eyesight on the track—the Doomsday Bunnies, that is. Our special guest coach is Katinka Hell, who plays for the Mainland Misfits’ Doomsday Bunnies. She’s little. She’s adorable. But, don’t be lulled by the sparkles and tutus—this bunny is vicious, and she might just bite.

Come prepared to work on stance, stride, pace lines, and working with partners. There might even be a game or two.

All levels of roller skater are welcome at these sessions. If you are a beginner, we’ll work with you separately until you have the skill and confidence to join the bigger group. If you are a more experienced skater, we’ll find a way to challenge you, never fear!

All skaters must have wrist, elbow and knee pads, helmets and mouth guards at all times, and of course, roller skates (quad skates).

Sessions are $12, and are drop-in. Just come on by!

We have two rules: 1. Be safe; 2. Don’t be an ass-hat.

See you Saturday!
