Well, it’s been an amazing summer skating on the beautiful surface at Royal City Curling Club, but, sadly, it’s time to say goodbye.
August 4 is our last skating session at Royal City Curling Club for 2012, but fear not! Raw Meat continues as usual all fall and winter on Saturdays from 5 to 7 at Thunderbird Community Centre, 2311 Cassiar St., Vancouver (8th and Cassiar, near Rupert Skytrain). Once we move back to Thunderbird, our cost drops, so sessions at Thunderbird will be only $7. If we get enough people, we can drop the price even more, so please get your friends on skates!
Due to the Terminial City Rollergirls’ bout against the Texas Rollergirls, we will not have Raw Meat on August 11, but join us on August 18 at Thunderbird Community Centre. As weather permits, we’ll also meet outside on Saturday morning to keep skating hard. Check out our Facebook group and Twitter feed (@raw_meat_van) for updates.
