Unfortunately, there was one small error in the article. The caption states, “Terminal City Roller Girls welcome intrepid reporter Sarah Rowland as she learns the ins and outs of Roller Derby.” Raw Meat Vancouver is not affiliated with the Terminal City Roller Girls. We are a completely independent group. We love the TCRG, and TCRG skaters are welcome at Raw Meat any time–but we’re a different group.

Raw Meat meets from 5PM to 7PM every Saturday, at Thunderbird Community Centre, 2311 Cassiar St. Sessions are $7, and are drop-in. You just need to come on by! Skaters require roller skates (quad skates), not roller blades, and full safety gear (helmet, wrist, elbow and knee pads, mouth guards).
