Raw Meat Vancouver Roller Skating

July 18: Raw Meat is five!

Raw Meat Vancouver Roller Skating is turning 5! Come celebrate with us!
Can you believe it? Raw Meat is five years old!

It all started in the summer of 2010, when Snow Crash asked if anyone was interested in pooling together to rent some space to learn to roller skate together. The first lesson consisted of Snow, saying, “Um, well, if I blow a whistle, maybe we could all stop at the same time?”

In the years since then, so many fabulous people have come to Raw Meat to learn to skate. On July 18, you are all invited to come back, and celebrate five years of roller skating. Join us from 10 am to noon at Royal City Curling Club.

New to skating? You are invited too! Raw Meat wouldn’t exist without a constant stream of new skaters.

We’ll skate, we’ll laugh, we’ll play some games, we’ll reminisce. Mostly, we’ll be ridiculous, and have a blast.

If you can’t make the 18th, that’s ok. I expect to see you at Raw Meat sometime this summer. We have a session on July 4, NO SESSION on July 11, and then we run every Saturday from July 18 to August 22 at Royal City Curling Club. Starting again in September, we’ll move back to Thunderbird Community Centre.

Remember to bring all your gear! Roller skates, helmet, mouth guard, wrist, elbow and knee pads, and $12.

See you there!
