All levels of skaters are welcome, from beginner to advanced. This session will feature a variety of skating and derby skill drills, including stopping (t-stop, plow stop, one-knee slide, two knee slide, etc.), proximity skating (skating in a line with other skaters), weaving through other skaters, and more. If you don’t know what any of these are, don’t worry. We will show you the moves, and you can progress at your own pace.

Bring roller skates (quad skates), NO roller blades allowed. Full safety gear is also needed: knee pads, elbow pads, wrist guards, helmets. Mouth guards are not required for every drill, but they are highly recommended. Raw Meat is a workout, so bring flexible, comfortable clothes that you can sweat in. You will wind up on the floor, so make sure you wear something that can get dirty.

See you Saturday!
